We are teaming up with Pinball Factory and the International Flipper Pinball Association for an exciting new tournament to celebrate the launch of Pinball FX2 Championship Edition, Zen’s arcade cabinet version of its hit digital pinball experience, Pinball FX2. Taking place from March 16 to March 18 at Fun Billiards in Dallas, Texas, the IFPA – Pinball FX2 CE Open 2017 invites players from all over the world to test their pinball mettle for a chance to win their very own Pinball FX2 Championship Edition home cabinet!
At the IFPA – Pinball FX2 CE Open 2017, players are invited to face off on Zen Studios’ original Wild West Rampage table, achieving the highest three minute score that they can. The entry fee is $30.00 for those who preregister by March 1, a savings of $20!

How about online multiplayer? My Buddy and I tried tonight with no success we enjoy playing on the same system when we meet up and just cannot believe we can’t join online with our ps4’s

just seen one of these pinball factory machines in person at texas pinfest. shockingly bad design and build quality. can’t believe you would associate your great name with an inferior product. not impressed.
What specifically seemed bad about it? Did you get a chance to play it?
Let me add in my two cents having attend TPF myself. The physical cabinet build was not good. There was metal angle channel on all the corners, presumable to hide bad wood work joins or the fact the decals could not be applied correctly. There is a huge steel panel between the screen and lockbar to fill in the space that is there due to a using a fullsize cabinet with a screen that does not extend the length of the cabinet. This said steel panel had clear grinder marks on it where it seems as if it was a used piece of steel. The feedback system was inferior to your other partners and game play was not as fulfilling, also the pinball was the size of a golfball!! The coin door was hideous, why anyone would take a blank coin door and insert 2 Japanese coin mechs in it when a proper coin door is available boggles the mind. The menu system for choosing other games did not work, it was stuck in a single game and every button in effect did the same thing of simply changing the view. The speaker panel looked like it had been routed by hand and the top edge was completely uneven.The backbox had an inferior size monitor it in that caused the need for a large plexiglass painted panel to be added to cover the blank space left around all sides of the screen. the claimed 3d did not work. overall it did not hold a candle to the competitor that was there (vpcabs) who had a total of 18 machines on display. This pinball factory machine was being advertised as ready to go units by i think fun amusements for a price of 7k. absolutely insane for the flawed design and lack of craftsmanship. Beyond that I was just perplexed on why the need to partner with another company on any other avenues when you have a clear winner in the existing partner you have who has worked with you since day 1 to develop the virtual machine platform and who is promoting your product exceptionally well and in discussing with the vpcabs team, still waiting on coinop functionality from yourselves. My opinion, stop wasting energy working with other vendors and focus on the one you have and adding more innovations (coinop, headtracking and video dmd rather than pinball dot matrix style now that even Stern has gone more video). You have a great titles, look forward to seeing them displayed at their best.
